A-7A Mock Up Weapons Loading 1964 Part Three

The Navy A-7 aircraft was a well known, long serving "Buddy Tanker". This ability was illustrated in the mock up fitting trials at Grand Prairie. Here are a few photos of the Beechcraft Model 385 refueling store and the D-704 refueling store. VAHF photos.

  1. Awesome. Keep 'em coming. BTW, Bill, does the name Garland Hogan ring a bell?

  2. Glad you are enjoying them. As for Garland, not right off the bat, maybe in context.

  3. He's a member of a FB site I run, A-7 Corsair II Fans. I promoted your blog on our site, and he asked if you were the same guy he worked with at Vought in the 80's as flight inspectors. He also recalled this guy was an A&P who came from Eastern, and went to SWA. Is that you?
